Anointed Vessel Productions hosts this annual event in recognition of Black History Month to celebrate the achievements of African Americans, honor the strength and resilience of notable historical African Americans, and raise public awareness of the culture, sociology, and religion of African Americans and their contribution to American history.
Anointed Vessel Productions accomplishes its mission of educating the community through the experience of the ARTS and CULTURE, by hosting theatre workshops to unite creative performers from the community to present a thought-provoking stage play production grounded in reality with relatable characters and struggles, that highlight historical moments in time for African Americans and which also speaks to the day to day life circumstances of our target audience. The event also includes vendor booths, a silent auction, spoken word, dance, live music, an opportunity drawing, and door prizes.
